Engagement Photography
WHY SHOULD I?
Simple – the more comfortable you are in front of the camera and around a photographer, the better! Engagement photography is an opportunity to capture some relaxed portraits of you and your fiance before the hectic wedding day. This e-session is almost like a date with a paparazzi.
Additionally, you can ask your engagement / wedding photographer to create cool “save the date” cards, invitations, or gues books. The possibilities are virtually endless! I have seen some people use the engagement pictures for center pieces. Be creative!

WHY THEY ARE IMPORTANT?
When was the last time you had professional candid moments taken of you and your fiance before your wedding day? Personally, I speak from experience. Although I am already married, it was hard finding quality images of my wife and I before we were married.
For example, this summer of 2009 I am going to Europe with her. I have to bring along a tripod and remote triggers to take pictures of ourselves. It would be so much easier if I had a professional photographer come along with us to take engagement pictures. I guess I should get engaged first, but that’s besides the point.
